Arvid was such an interesting man to talk with. He knew much about many things, especially planes, of course. That is one of our interests so we enjoyed talking with him about them. After he became ill it seemed that he made a plan to wring the best out of every day. If he couldn't do what he wanted to do, then he did what he could do and made it fun and interesting for himself. He was a remarkable person. God be with Margaret and all his family at this time and in the days ahead.
Our thoughts and prayers to the family. We enjoyed Arvids Daily e-mails and also our yearly visit as Bonnie and I were traveling between Az and Mn. I have many happy memories of our sunday get togethers as kids. I remember one sunday we helped our dog laddie kill a skunk down in our medow and then carried it back to the house on a couple sticks so the rest of our families could see what we had been up to. One time when I was staying at his house his mom had baked a cake and then gone to town and left arvid and i at home. We decided to frost the cake only to discover a cat had gotten into it and had eaten a hole in it ccose to on end. We carved out around the cat eaten part and then mixed up a large batch of fudge frosting and filed the hole with frosting. We started on the wrond end of the cake so had to eat most of it to get to the frosting. That is just some of the trouble Arvid and I got into. We will miss him very much, Cousin Marvin and wife Bonnie Hanebuth.
My thoughts and prayers to the family. I haven't seen Arvid for many years, but do remember going along to a baseball game with them when his dad played. I've enjoyed getting all these emails from Arvid the last few years and will really miss that. In celebration of his life, from cousin Karen Munson
