So sweet memories of Janet and our years as friends. Many times she would talk of her children and grandchildren. Janet was someone that you would never forget. Rest in peace.
Dena, my thoughts and prayers to you and all of Janet's family. Janet and I were both born a month apart from each other at Harris. I went to grade school at Emerald and Janet at Harris. Then we went to high school together at Garnett. We stayed friends going to work in Kansas City after high school. And we both had our ups and downs after we were married. Janet was a fun person to be with, laughing one minute and crying the next. I'm sorry to hear of her passing but she is now at peace.
Janet and I go back alot of years to the courthouse days. She always stopped in the ROD office and visited before going up to the 3rd Floor. I will never forget the look on her face when she came in and said she was expecting Liz, priceless! She was so much fun and so witty! Later years our talks were mostly about "our girls." Lots of good memories that will keep you going thru these rough days ahead. Remember even though she isn't here, she will always be with you. You know we are here for whatever you need, love you guys!

I remember your mom with a very warm heart. I can remember her laughter whenever I would come over to visit back in our high school years. I remember running into her in later years and she always remembered me. She always made me feel welcome. What you have gone through these past several years is a very painful process that no one should have to experience. You know that she is no longer suffering and you have a special angel watching over you. I wish you all the warmest and best memories of your mom. I pray for comfort from your pain and love from family and friends!
Dena, Bryan, and Liz, I have known your mother for over 40 years. I started delivering a paper to her when she worked in the top of the courthouse. She was always so nice. My daughter also got to know her by delivering to her from Burn's Pharmacy. Janet to a liking to her as well. There is no more pain for her; only for us who will miss her.
