Essie was a wonderful woman. I enjoyed many a cup of coffee with her when i lived in colony. I loved listening to her many stories about her growing up, and through the years. She will be missed by many. May her family find comfort and many memories. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

As a child, I was always amazed at how sweet and loving Aunt Essie was. She was always kind and patient. I also remembered her cakes and pies. They were always a child's dream come true. You will be missed. Love and prayers to you all.
