WHEN HEAVEN'S LULLABY WAS SUNG,
MAKES IT'S HARD TO SAY GOODBYE,
LEAVES OUR HEARTS ASKING WHY,
BUT HAPPY TO SEE YOU CAN FLY.
HEAVEN BECAME MORE LOVING TODAY,
A NEW STAR LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT SKY,
WHEN YOUR CALLING WAS ANSWERED,
I'M NOT GOOD AT GOODBYE,
SO IN MY HEART I WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE,
YOU GAVE MORE THAN ANYONE,
WE KNOW YOU DESERVE HEAVEN NOW,
FOR YOUR LIFE YOU CAN TAKE AN BOW,
WITH GOD AND HIS ANGELS WILL ALLOW,
HEAVEN BECAME MORE LOVING TODAY,
A NEW STAR LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT SKY,
WHEN YOUR CALLING WAS ANSWERED,
I'M NOT GOOD AT GOODBYE,
SO IN MY HEART I WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE,
HAPPINESS AND SMILES THAT YOU GAVE,
THINKING OF YOU BRINGS ME A SMILE,
WISH YOU COULD HAD STAYED A LITTLE WHILE
BUT GOD WAS WAITING IN THE AISLE,

To the children & family of Ruth Whitcomb, my thoughts & prayers are with you. I remember you Mother & Dad back in the '30's when they lived in a small house on the Roscoe & Lenna Adams farm & helped my Dad. Donald, you were a toddler then. Also, when my Dad passed I remember you C.R. & your wife brought my Mother & family a whole meal & your Mother, Dad & Debbie brought cookies because they thought our small daughters at that time would enjoy cookies. Then your sister Debbie was a roommate with our daughter Cathy at Ottawa U. There are other treasured memories. Your parents were very dear people.

To Ruth's Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at the loss of your Mother. Ruth was a very special person, I first became acquainted with her when I started attending Kincaid First Baptist in 1955. She was always a happy person and very friendly. I always felt she had a very close relationship with her Lord, so we know she is now enjoying her reward in heaven. God bless you all.

We are sorry for Ruth's family, in their loss. We have only talked with her a few times, but have known her son David many years, as he married my cousin, Carolyn. We have heard many wonderful things about Ruth. She raised a large family and has many descendents. She was a blessing to many people; her smile looks joyous.

Grandma was the best woman I have ever known. She made me a better person. I thank God for her influence and love in my life. She taught me so much about Jesus and about how we should live our lives. She loved no matter what and that's the kind of person I want to be, and because of her maybe someday I'll get close.I love you Grandma and will miss you.
