I am Uncle Dale's niece. His wife, my Aunt Pat is my mother's sister. Uncle Dale and Aunt Pat came to my wedding May 3rd, 2008. I remember meeting him for the first time, and he just has this catching laugh. He loved to crack jokes and was always smiling to you. I am so glad he came to my wedding or I would never have met such a nice man! Aunt Pat, you are in my prayers! I love you Aunt Pat and Uncle Dale, may you R.I.P. See you in heaven one day!
Love your niece,
Pam

Dale was the catalyst that connected my sister Pat and myself and I will always be grateful for what he did for us. He was such a people person, it was just a joy to see him interact with them. I learned a lot. Dale will be missed.

Pat,
I just read that Dale passed. Kenzie and I are back in Lees Summit and we are so sorry for your loss. Kenzie will always remember when Dale would come by on the tractor and ask her if she wanted a ride. She will always treasure that memory. Our thoughts are with you.

Dale was always laughing and telling jokes. When Sarah was born, he tried to sneak candy to her before her first birthday. My mom, Mary Ellen, told me to go with it and not get upset. Dale's plan backfired when the carmel apple lollipop got stuck in Sarah's teeth. She didn't want anything to do with Dale or his candy. Of course, he was crushed. That's when he changed to Tootsie Rolls! Sarah and Megan to this day love them and remember Dale as the guy who gave them candy. We love you, Dale! We will miss you dearly.
