Obituary of Jeffery L. Nowell

Jeffery Len Nowell, age 45, of Iola, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on July 23, 2019. Jeff was born on January 29, 1974, in Clinton, Missouri, to LeRoy Nowell and Katherine L. (Kimberlin) Gibson.

Jeff attended school in Hamilton, Kansas. He and Shonda D. (Reese) Nowell were married on August 22, 2014, in Miami, Oklahoma. Jeff was a mechanic.

Jeff enjoyed being around his family and friends. Jeff liked the times he spent at the lake. He spent his leisure time riding four-wheelers and motorcycles, and cruising around listening to music.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Shelly Riddle.

Jeff is survived by wife, Shonda, Altoona, Kansas; mother, Kathy Gibson, Pleasanton, Kansas; sisters, Lea Ann Covey, Richmond, Missouri, Dani Dawn Nowell, Kansas City; brother, Brian Nowell, Hamilton, Kansas; girlfriend, Desiree Rogers, Iola, Kansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A family and friends memorial service honoring Jeff's life will be held at Toronto Point on Toronto Lake, located on South Point Road, Toronto, Kansas, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Memorials are requested to the Jeffery L. Nowell Memorial Fund, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
