Obituary of Johnny Lee Adams

Johnny Lee Adams, age 77, of La Harpe, Kansas, passed away Thursday July 25, 2019, at Moran Manor, Moran, Kansas. Johnny was born May 20, 1942, to Noah W. Adams and Eller B. (Sanders) Adams in Iola, Kansas.

Johnny entered into the military service at the age of eighteen serving in both the Army and the Air Force. He was a firefighter in the service serving in Germany and Spain. After returning home in 1966, he met Nancy (McDaniel) Adams and they were married on June 1, 1967. This union was blessed with two sons. Johnny worked for the local chicken plant, IMP Boats, T and E Pallets, and Model T Haven.

Johnny loved to collect guns, trade guns, and go hunting. Johnny always had cats and loved them very much.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.

Johnny is survived by his wife of the home; two sons Johnny Henry Adams and wife Jennifer of Gas, Steve Adams of La Harpe; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date.
