Obituary of Carl E Brown

Carl E. Brown, age 90, of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehab, Richmond, Kansas.

He was born February 10, 1929, in Princeton, Missouri, the son of Hershel and Marie (Wright) Brown.  Carl joined the United States Army in 1945 and served for two years.

He married Dee Brown and this union was blessed with three sons. They later divorced.  He then married Julie Brown, they divorced.

Carl retired from Operating Engineers Local 101 out of Kansas City, Missouri, as a heavy equipment operator.  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. 

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Marie Brown; one son, Darby Brown; three brothers, Junior Brown, Dale Brown, and Phillip Brown.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Brown of Texas, Nicholas Brown and wife Lisa of Vermont; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Cloyd Brown and wife Virginia of Garnett, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Teresa Hollan and husband Roy of Garnett, Kansas, Cindy Janway and husband Teddy of Heavner, Oklahoma, Jesse Brown and wife Linda of Garnett, Kansas.

Cremation is planned and no services will be held.
