Obituary of Carol Beth Christy

Carol Beth Christy, age 80, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Moran Manor, Moran, Kansas.  Carol was born on March 27, 1939, in LeRoy, Kansas, to Frank C. Hart and Thelma L. (West) Hart.

Carol attended school in Iola, Kansas.  Carol married Buddy Charles Christy in Garnett, Kansas.  Carol was a homemaker.

Carol greatest love was her grandchildren.  Carol enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy; her parents; one daughter, Connie Channel; infant brother, Jerry Wesley Hart; and grandson, Blake Christy.

Carol is survived by son, Marty Christy and wife, Cindy, Gas, Kansas; two grandchildren, Missy Channel, Iola, Kansas, Steven Channel, Wellsville, Kansas; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vivian Poff and husband, Marlin, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donna McElvain, Cave Creek, Arizona; and two brothers, Larry Hart and wife, Pam, Iola, Kansas, Kenny Hart, Iola, Kansas.    

A private immediate family memorial service will take place at a later date with inurnment to follow in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.
