My prayers and condolences go out to the entire Schulte family. I will always remember the good times with Dan and Scott, whether it was in the fraternity, the apartment we shared or the house that CD bought in Manhattan. Some of my best memories from K-State are with the Schulte brothers.
Let us all rejoice in knowing that Dan is enjoying the eternal light of Heaven.

Dan was a great friend to me, He was always there to help me through the tough times in my life. He was honest even when you didn't want him to be.. Dan was always fun to be around when we were kids. Scott and Danny were at home a lot, and Carla too.
We would play for hours and hours; sleep overs, camping outside, staying up late, fishing, choring on Saturday morning after cartoons, and just plan ol’ kids goofying around for fun. Over at their house, it was great food and rake, rake, raking the shag carpet. This was pre-pool days.
The whole Schulte family is very dear. I know Dan wrestled with many things in his life, but he knew how to be kind, and inside, he was gentle. I will always remember his smile-kind of a trade mark, really. As we remember him, we can be comforted that his struggling and wrestling here on earth has ended. May the memory of his life serve to encourage each of us to love others and to enjoy the life we are given. May God have mercy on his eternal soul.
For all Dan’s family, direct and extended, I am sorry for your loss and grieve with you.

Great memories are there when I think of Dan Schulte. From the times on the golf course(short OP shorts, no shirt) to lounging around the swimming pool(where the tan man got his nick-name). My wife and I are so sorry for your lost, when a relative or friend falls asleep in death it takes a long time to recover. One thing we do have is our memories about the good times. We also have the Bible’s promise of a time when we will see them again. John 5:28,29 says all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out. Carla, Scott, Kim, and CD,
I am so sad to hear of Danny's passing. His laugh, his jovial demeanor, they made him such a lovable person and a delight to be around. We went to several high school dances together and he always dressed like such a "Dapper Dan!".He was always such a gentleman. I remember being in the choir with him. He sat in the row with the tenors, as I recall, and Mr. Massey would get onto him for leaning back in his chair, saying, "Danny, you're going to tip over". Well, one day it happened, and no one laughed more than Danny.
We will all miss him as we're about town in Garnett. I pray that you will feel God's comfort in your time of sorrow and know that his soul is at peace and rest with our Holy Father in heaven.

Wow, this was quite a shocker. So sorry Kim and Schulte family for the loss of Dan. I will always remember Dan as a great, happy guy who got along with everyone...well at least always with me...He always did a great job at Sigma Chi of holding up our "social" responsibilities to the community and will always be appreciated for that and many other things. So sorry for your & our loss.

I knew Danny as a1980 Grad. He was always friendly and talked to everyone. Even though I typically only encountered him at class reunions he was always talkative. I know he is golfing in heaven. May God rest his soul.

I'll remember Danny with his infectious smile, sense of humor and that laugh. When he was young playing football for his Dad, he was so small and C.D. would tell him, "Get on Grahams hip and hide"! He always made time for a talk and remembrance with me, and his ornery side was always refreshing for a great laugh. We were neighbors and friends, and Rhoda just got her Angel and pool man back.
