Obituary of Connie S. Lickteig

Connie S. Lickteig, age 55, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away Friday March 29, 2019, at her home in Chanute, Kansas. Connie was born August 30, 1963 in Chanute, Kansas to Dewayne Ard and Janice (Laver) Ard.

Connie graduated from Humboldt High School in 1982. On September 8, 1983 Connie married Kenny Lickteig, to this union three children were born. They later divorced.

Connie was a very caring and kind hearted individual. She touched many people and made a big impact on many peoples lives.

Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Connie is survived by her parents of Humboldt, Kansas; one son Ryan Lickteig of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two daughters Ashley Nelson of Garnett, Kansas, Shelby Head and husband Brian of Bourg, Louisiana; four grandchildren Addison Foster, Bella Bennett, Ashlyn and Colton Nelson, and one on the way; three sisters Rhonda Steele of Parsons, Kansas, Janet Thompson and husband Curtis of Hobart, Oklahoma, Jill Ard of Chanute, Kansas; and numerous other relatives.

A visitation for Connie will be held Wednesday April 3, 2019, from 6:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Venue, 1883 US-Hwy 54 Iola, Kansas. A graveside service will be held Thursday April 4, 2019, 10:00 A.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt, Kansas.

Memorials in honor of Connie can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and can be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
