Obituary of Renee Dee Holman

Renee Dee Holman, age 49, of Welda, Kansas, grew her wings and went to heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born August 10, 1969, in Garnett, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Pam (Fagg) Holman. Renee attended Garnett High School through her freshman year.  She then attended Crest High School and graduated in 1987.

Renee married Danny Sams in December 1991, and later divorced.  To this union were born three sons, Branden Eugene Sams (deceased in infancy), Shane Daniel Sams and Quentin Robert Sams.

She found many friends while working at Midland Brake.  She especially enjoyed hanging out and talking many hours on the phone with her Aunt Delores, friends and family.  Renee also enjoyed looking for wild asparagus in the spring.  She had a love for cats.

Renee is survived by two sons, Shane Sams and Quentin Sams; parents, Paul and Pam Holman; one brother, Rhoderick Holman, all of Welda, Kansas; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins; Also her companion, Jeff Parks of Welda, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett.  The family will greet friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home in Garnett from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Welda Methodist Church or to the Welda Volunteer Fire Department.
