Keith "Zeke" Shores, age 81, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2019, at Allen County Regional Hospital. Keith was born March 3, 1938, in Latham, Missouri to Lank L. Shores and Priscella I. (Lyles) Shores. Keith graduated from Paola High School in 1956. Keith worked as a pipe fitter for Rock Island, Burlington Northern, Santa Fe, and Frisco Railroads. Keith had a passion for anything trains and enjoyed building model train sets. He enjoyed the wild side of life, like music and dancing, but still maintained a strong faith. Keith was a member for many years at Community Baptist Church in Iola. He loved James Bond movies and Gene Autry. Keith loved his family and pets very much. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter Lisa Ellen Shores. Keith is survived by one son John Shores and wife Carol of Iola, Ks; one granddaughter Bria Kettle; one daughter Debbie Logan and husband Frank of Gas City, Kansas; five grandsons Franklin, Wyatt, Keaton, Walker, and Denver Logan. A funeral service for Keith will be held Monday March 25, 2019, 10:30 A.M. at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 1883 US-Hwy 54 Iola, Kansas. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
