Donna, Becky, J.R. and Kevin. We really wish we could have spent more time to really "experience" James, more so for Don who didn't have the luxury of time to do so. He was lucky, not only did he have the fine obituary but was able to know more about James just by reading these condolences. Our thoughts and prayers to all of James family. “Uncle” Jim was a man amongst men. While we have a big family, he was always my favorite. One of my earliest memories of childhood was eating crackers at the house on North (?) street. We sat at the sink on a couple of bar stools and I distinctly remember wiping our hands on our pants since neither of us had napkins. One of my fondest memories and also a habit my wife wish I hadn’t picked up! Also remember going to his office on the square (?) as a little guy. What a sweet and gentle man. He really will always be loved in our hearts. He and Aunt Donnie were and are an inspiration for all couples to aspire to. Hope there’s a band in Heaven. They have a new guitar player now. Jeff, Jen, Emma, and Henry Stalnaker ❤️
