I met her in 1973, at a iola nursing home.i was an newly hired aide. She was the charge nurse. She taught me everything I needed to be the best of myself and a true caring nurse. After 43 years of nursing home work, two years prison nurse, a doctorate in metaphysics, a level III theraputic touch therapist, a l.p.n., a DON, a. Medical records clerk, a social service designee, a rehabilitation therapy supervisor, a clinic nurse , a emergency care nurse. I would have never done any of this if it wasn't for her. She was everything I wanted to be. I believe God sent her, she was my saving grace....
