Angie: I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I will miss her smile.I will always remember when we had similar cars. She got into my car after church by mistake. We had a good chuckle over that. You are in my prayers.

I was so blessed & inspired by her. She had such a loving heart and such a vibrant personality. I remember so many wonderful times spent talking to her but the one that sticks out for me is when she stopped in the store to visit and I told her I really wanted to hear her sing. Well, she sang for me! I was blown away. I will miss her terribly. Prayers and blessings for her family.

I will always remember her talent. In the past my first husband and I had a band. She would come and we would always ask her to sing. She was my inspiration in singing. We shared a lot of good times together. Buddy, my husband now, loved to play the harmonica with her. Karen and I always looked at each other as sisters. Her sister Betty was married to my used to be Brother in law, my sister passed and he married Betty. We always laughed and said we were family, not really but we loved each other as family. I will really miss her, she was always happy and upbeat. God truly needed another angel to help with the choir. Love to all the family and may God Bless each one of you every day of your lives. I hope to be there for the funeral but I live in Oklahoma and it is a ways to go but am going to try to be there. I am going to sing a special song in her honor at my church. God Bless, Carol

She had such a way with language! I loved her folksy sayings that would just slid out if her mouth. Such a great funny lady with a wonderful personality. I remember one she used to say, hotter than spit in a frying pan. Lively gutsy singing voice as well. She was a pistol! My condolences goes out to Angi and family, through whom i met her mother at the antique store.
