Obituary of Marilyn Kay Seeley

Marilyn Kay Seeley, age 70, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at her residence.  Kay was born October 2, 1948, in Iola, Kansas, to Carl Grogan and Pauline (Madison) Grogan.

Kay received her GED.  She was a caregiver to many people in the Iola area.

Kay enjoyed listening to the Iola Symphony on the Iola Square.  She liked to work jig-saw puzzles and spend time with her family and friends. 

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Joan Dix, and an infant daughter.

Kay is survived by one son, Carl Wesley Seeley, Iola, Kansas; one granddaughter, Natalie Seeley, Iola, Kansas; one brother, Dwight Grogan, Colony, Kansas, three sisters, Betty Yoho, Humboldt, Kansas, Janice Puckett, Yates Center, Kansas, Barbara Wilson, Iola, Kansas, and numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation in honor of Kay’s memory will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
