Obituary of Barbara Ann Wille
Barbara Ann Eccles Wille, age 71, of Iola, Kansas, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the Allen County Regional Hospital, Iola, Kansas. Barbara was born on May 13, 1947, in Richmond, California, to John R. Eccles and Dorothy L. Fuzzell Eccles. She moved to Iola when she was two months old.
Barbara graduated from Iola High School in 1965. She and Larry Brutchin were married in 1969. They later divorced. Barbara and Robert J. Wille were married on August 9, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Barbara was a bookkeeper for IMP Boats, Iola Ready Mix, and F & S Supply, all in Iola, retiring in 2008.
Barbara enjoyed dirt track racing and spending time with family and friends. She liked to travel and visit flea markets. Barbara was known for her "big heart," as she was always helping and giving to others. She earned the title "Nana Nack" by always having snacks and sersies for the kids of her racing family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tracey Wille; and brother-in-law, Donald Porter.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert, of the home; two sons, Jerald Wille and wife, Dana, and Jarred Brutchin and wife, Tonya, all of Iola; one daughter, Jacey Combs and significant other, Steve Heady, Iola; two sisters, Carol Porter and Connie Wolken and husband, Larry, all of Iola; seven grandchildren, Dylan Wille, Nathaniel Evans, Haley Smith, Jenna Mittelmeier and husband, Ross Whyte, Tessa Brutchin, Paiton Brooks and husband, Chris, Bryce Heady; two great-grandsons, Easton and Brady Brooks; one niece, Lisa Byrne and husband, Jake, and their son, Jakob; one nephew, Dustin Porter and wife, Missy, and their daughters, Brittany and Caleigh; and several cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service honoring Barbara's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2018, in the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Iola. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
