I have wonderful memories of Francette and Howard being so kind to all of us kids. They were generous in opening their home for our youth parties where we ate the latest world cuisines of tacos or pizza. I am blessed by their love for missions.

I can't remember life without Howard and Francette and the Veteo family. They were pioneers in starting the Colony Community Church with Rev and Mrs I.L. Neuenswanders in August 1957 and an important part of all the Neuenswander decendants since. I remember so well the Sunday School classes at CCC with flannel graph stories and finger puppet stories. Francette was a huge impact to many children. As a young person we loved the youth group parties that Francette sponsored at their home. Wonderful family. In the 1960's the Veteto family became an important part of First Baptist Church where the Compton's also attended. Sherry and Claudette could play the wheels off the piano. I loved it. Can't even begin to remember all the missiionaries they hosted as part of "Men's for Mission" and other mission groups they supported. Sorry for your family's loss. Lots of love and prayers of comfort for your family.. Joseph Compton
