Randy Lee Crowell, age 61, of LaHarpe, Kansas, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at his home in LaHarpe, Kansas. Randy was born January 14, 1957, in Iola, Kansas, to Edwin Irving Crowell and Sandra Meeks Crowell. Randy graduated in 1975 from the Iola High School, Iola, Kansas. He met and married Mae Spragg on October 28, 1978, in Olympia, Washington. Randy worked as a computer specialist for Broyles, Inc. in Humboldt, Kansas, for twenty years. He was the animal control officer for the City of LaHarpe. Randy enjoyed animals and life. Computers were Randy's passion and life! Randy was preceded in death by his parents. Randy is survived by his wife of the home; two brothers, Rick Crowell and wife, Bessie, LaHarpe, Kansas, Terry Crowell, Iola, Kansas; three nieces, Rachel Stokes and husband, Josh, Chanute, Kansas, Heather Skahan and husband, Nathan, Iola, Kansas, Courtney Crowell, Yates Center, Kansas; two nephews, Eric Crowell, Wichita, Kansas, Kevin Crowell and wife, Amy, Wichita, Kansas; and numerous other relatives. Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service honoring Randy's life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the LaHarpe City Hall, 902 South Washington Street, LaHarpe, Kansas.
