Obituary of Pamela Kay Roush

Pamela Kay Roush, age 67, of Iola, Kansas, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 6, 2018. Pam was born October 22, 1950, in Iola, Kansas, to Glen and Marg Creason Carter.

 

Pam and Carl R. Roush were married June 29, 1973, in Iola, Kansas. She graduated from the Iola High School in 1968. Pam worked as the executive director assistant for Arrowood Lane and Greystone Assisted Living. She spent her entire adult life working with the elderly.

 

Pam enjoyed her flowers and flower garden, fishing, and camping. She is remembered for her kindness, caring for others, and her generosity.

 

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Carter, Glenda Jones, and Roberta Gregory.

 

Pam is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Roxanna "Roxy" Gregg and husband, Deion, Xenia, Kansas, Gerri Gray and husband, Travis, Iola, Kansas, Jody Poffenbarger and husband, Nick, Iola, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

 

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 10, 2018, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas. A funeral service honoring Pam's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Iola, Kansas.  Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.

 

Memorials are suggested to the garden fund at Arrowood Lane and Greystone Assisted Living, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, Kansas.
