I had the privilege to know Miss Jeanne at a very young age, as I was growing up in the dance studio. She was definitely a "no bones about it" all business woman, but I was fortunate enough to experience her in the studio in its prime. My fondest memory of Miss Jeanne was her phenomenal productions of our costumes in the Lion King performance. I was a yellow chorus bird, very young in my dancing career, for the performance. I was not pleased about being a bird, but Miss Jeanne pulled me aside one day and explained to me that her favorite color was yellow and she wanted me to have the yellow bird costume. I was very humbled by her telling me this, and always held that memory special in my heart.
I send my deepest condolences to the entire Cooper family, and my thoughts and prayers go out to them.
