Obituary of Brittany Kathryn Wales

Brittany Kathryn Wales, age 28, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Brittany was a 2008 graduate of Greenbrier High School. She attended Augusta State University.

Family members include her soulmate of 11 years Joshua Patton; her father, Laurence Walter Wales of Palos Heights, Illinois; mother, Kathryn Elizabeth Harvey and stepfather James Carter Harvey of Richmond Hill, Georgia; brother, Nicholas Laurence Wales of Ali Al Salem Air Force Base, Kuwait; stepsisters, Kelly Marie Harvey and Melanie Lynn Harvey of Augusta, Georgia, grandparents, Orville and LaVerne Cole of Garnett, Kansas and many other cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Walter and Suzanne Wales, Palos Heights, Illinois.   

A celebration of life will be Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son, Augusta, Georgia, with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. 

An inurnment will be on Wednesday August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., in the Garnett Cemetery, Garnett, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations be made to the First Christian Church, P. O. Box 126, Garnett, Kansas  66032, or to The Hope House, P.O. Box 3597, Augusta, Georgia, 30914.
