Obituary of Neil Duane Holloway
Neil Duane Holloway, age 57, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Pecos, Texas.
He was born July 13, 1960 in Iola, Kansas, the son of Neil and Mary Jane (New) Holloway. Duane graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at Pittsburg State University and a Masters at A&T State University in North Carolina.
Duane was a member of Kincaid Masonic Lodge #338 and an Air Force Veteran. He served as a survival specialist instructor.
He enjoyed his life one day at a time. He was never too serious, always joking around and being silly. Duane was a humble and honest family man and loved spending time with family and his friends. He was known to be compassionate and witty and people were drawn to him. Duane always put others first and was quick to offer a helping hand. He was not just a good person, he was the best person that some people ever had the opportunity to meet. He did not have to ask for respect, people trusted him automatically. He enjoyed being outdoors and always had a story to tell. He gave the best big bear hugs that could wipe away any worries and always make you smile. He was a happy person.
