Decker and I practically grew up together and he was always one of my best friends. Decker was a terrific athlete being especially adept at playing football. I enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball with Decker, and I will never forget him scoring the winning touchdown against Moran his senior year even though running on a sprained ankle. He was one tough individual. I have lived in Oklahoma these past 54 years and have been able to see Decker only at Kincaid fair time and other special occasions. However, we always enjoyed reminiscing about the "good old days". I will miss Decker, as will many other folks. Sandy, you and your family have my deepest sympathy.
