To the family of Denny McBride.
I read of his passing in the Eastern new Mexico News in Portales, N.M. I am pretty sure this is the same Denny McBride I knew when I was attending ENMU in about 1968. I was operating a Shamrock Service Station across from the campus on Highway 70. If I remember correctly, Denny worked at ENMU maintenance department. He came in often and bought gasoline from me and we became friends. I thought the world of Denny. He always was laughing and carrying on and always had a big smile on his face. He was certainly my favorite customer. That station was sold and torn down in about 1969 and I never saw Denny after that, but when I read this, I wanted to share something.
