Hearing of Roberta’s passing saddens me, but I have many wonderful memories of growing up just down the road a few miles near Westphalia which include her and her family. I know my mother, Mary Frank, considered Roberta a friend and caring neighbor. She also respected her as an accomplished teacher. No doubt, she is now in Heaven watching over the rest of us here on earth. May God be with and bless your entire family. Much love to all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. West was my fourth grade teacher, during the 1961-1962 school year, in Aliceville, Kansas. She was a gifted teacher, always kind, making school very enjoyable for her students. May God comfort you and bring you His peace.

Dear family of Roberta,
I was a teacher that Roberta went to school with at Emporia. We sometimes rode together to summer school classes. I am from Iola. We remained friends through the years. I always looked forward to seeing her at teaching events. She was a very good teacher and one I was glad to call my friend. Deepest sympathy to all of you. Sincerely, Retabess and Kenny Ling

To Ronda, Randy, and Kylie:
I am so sorry in your loss of Roberta, one of my very favorite cousins. When I was just beginning my teaching career, I spent a lot of time with Roberta who gave me much valuable advice. She had been teaching for several years by then. I never forgot all the help and ideas she gave me.
Now may God Bless you all with wonderful memories that you can forever cherish in your hearts. Till we meet again in Heaven one day soon.
Much Love and Prayers,
Joe and Melva Ream

Dear Kylie-It has been so long since your first school days. Fond memories of you staying at our house while your mother was teaching. She was such a special lady and teacher who taught all of my children 1st grade. May He comfort you in these days ahead. Blessings Debbie Eichman

Roberta was my brother's teacher at Aliceville, and I was a student in the "upper room". I am blessed to have know Roberta, and pray that she is enjoying her spot in Heaven, where there is no more pain or sorrow, and Jesus will wipe away the tears. I pray for God's peace to be with you all as you share memories and comfort each other.

What a sweet, sweet woman and caring teacher. It was my privilege to teach alongside her in Westphalia, Kansas, 1975 to 1982. It seems like she always had a smile and a word or two of encouragement for me and I was all the better for it.
