Venita Faye Roush, 67, of La Harpe passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, following a brief illness of pneumonia. She was born May 17, 1950 in McPherson, Kansas to Carl and Delta (Moore) Johnson. She was married to William F. Roush, Jr. on June 1, 1985 in Iola. She worked for several years as a distribution coordinator for the Iola Register. She loved all animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home, two sons, Johnathan Roush and wife, Katrina, of Iola, and Jason Roush of Chanute, grandchildren, Trinity and Emmerson Roush, brother, Sheldon Johnson and wife, JoAnne, of Tennessee, a nephew, Aaron Johnson, and nieces, Teresa Lowe and Erica Beck. Venita was preceded in death by her parents. Her funeral will be 2:00 Friday, January 26, 2018 at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Hwy 54, Iola. Burial will follow in La Harpe Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00, also at the funeral home.
