I'm sorry for your loss. Certainly the death of one we dearly love is very saddening. I too have experienced such heart break over someone near and dear to me. Revelation 21:4 has provided comfort for me, where is says "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore"

Marcene was such a neat lady who gave so much to others. Always smiling, loved the Lord and her family.
She always looked so nice at church, and eyes always lit up when family would be there with her. She is now with other family members in heaven that she has been missing. Prayers & thoughts are with all of you.

Such a beautiful lady in every way. A delight to be around. My favorite memory about Marcene was meeting someone in the grocery store one day who told my husband and I that they had been to Worlds of Fun and how "Grandma" had worn all the kids out. After they left I asked my husband if he happened to know who "Grandma" was and he said--you have her at Parkside Place--Marcene Jasper. I laughed because I should have known. She was a true treasure.

We are saddened by Marcene's passing. My daughter, Sage, met Marcene while visiting Parkview Heights with her class from St. Rose. Sage's teacher told me that she assumed the two were family members or already knew each other because of their connection. When Sage's class no longer went to Parkview Heights she asked me if I could take her back to see her special friend. It's one of the best decisions I've made as a parent! Seeing the two of them interact was so moving! They truly enjoyed each other's company and all the smiles and hugs proved that! Sage says, "I'm so glad to have met her." May you rest in peace sweet lady.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to care for this amazing lady while at Parkview Heights. When I left PH I wasnt sure if I could leave because of Marcene. Loved this lady with all my heart. Will always cherish the memories of watching the Royals and especially the Jayhawks in her room. When I left to care for another resident she would always update me in what I missed! Prayers and hugs to all of you! Love you Marcene! Thanks for making a difference in MY life!

Oh my where do I begin! First and foremost I am so sorry for your loss she was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold and I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had not met her and Syd!
They were the sweetest and the nicest people I’ve ever met, of course Marcene and I were very close I hadn’t seen her for many years but I finally got to about four years ago and spent some time with her and I thank God for that every day!
I don’t have to say anything else I loved her so much! You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
Sincerely Christy!

I became aware of Marcene as I also was a Hair Stylist.
Its a small town & it's not hard to have our lives criss cross over time, plus we attended the same Church.
Marcene always had a smile with a hello and yes her family was important to her.
RIP sweet lady

Jim and Betty, Jerry and All of Family. Heaven gained another "Angel." At times like this it's hard to find the right words to help make things better. Simply know that you are all in our Thoughts and Prayers at this difficult time. You will surely miss her.

Dear Family,
Our sincere sympathy at the loss of your beloved Marcene. We have known Marcene for many years as a friend, beautician, and loyal member of First Christian Church. She was a talented hair dresser, but most of all, we loved working with her at church. Oh, what fun we had working on committees together. Her specialty was setting up kitchen/dining facilities for our large church gatherings. She could out-work all of us. We loved all our associations with her and will miss her.
