Dear Helen & Family:
Jim and I send our deepest sympathy in the passing of Lee. I can't say enough about Lee as he was such a devoted father, husband and friend to all. His activity with baseball gave much excitement to many young athletes who would never have had the chance to be involved, if not for him and I'm sure very much appreciated by many.
God Bless you & all your family. I know Lee will be missed by many and all of his old classmates

Where do you begin with a friendship that spans so many years? We have had such good times together with family and friends. I remember so many times Lee saying, I told Don if he would just........... You don't find to many men like Lee anymore. He cared about his family, his community and the people in it and he loved his country. We will miss him dearly. May his family find comfort in knowing what a good man their husband and father was!

I can't remember when Lee was not in my life, and I choose to keep him in my life for however much time I have on this earthly plane. Lee was a giving person who will always be remembered as the one who was always willing to reach out to help others. My prayers go out to Helen and all the family, as he will be so missed. I loved Lee and know that he is in a good place now and forever. May God put his arms around all of the family and comfort them. They had much to love and received much love in return from Lee. God Bless.

Mr. Miller was an incredible man of very high integrity. He loved what you did and I think he loved helping people. I think Mr. Miller is a great example of the kind of family feeling Garnett and the surrounding area enjoys because people trust each other and help one another and genuinely care about one another. Mr. Miller will be missed. my condolences for the family

Dear Helen and family - so many memories of Lee with the fire department. It was almost like he had a sixth sense of when someone was at the station and he would appear. We had many laughs and many serious moments. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Helen & Family, I am so sorry to hear of Lee’s illness & passing. Although I haven’t seen you lately, it was very nice to visit with you after my mom’s death.
Clearly our family doesn’t keep in touch enough. Cora Sue passed away March 13, 2017 in Winchester, Virginia. When doing genealogical research, I discovered that her half sister, Janie, passed away within the past year or two while living in the Pacific Northwest.
I find it fitting that Lee’s funeral will be on the day of our local Christmas parade & Fire fighter’s chili supper, which were events he had a hand in over the years. He will be missed!
