Alvin was my chauffeur for my sophomore and junior year. He would pick me up on Highway 54 with his brother and my classmate Larry. Then we would make the four mile drive laughing about 'whatever'. He was working at the elevator at the time. He was a good friend of my father and they would hunt and fish together, usually they were productive. Alvin was a real gentleman and sort of kept an eye on me! Thank you Alvin for your advice during those years, God knows I needed it!

I'm very sorry t hear about the loss of Alvin. He was such a sweet man. I remember when he drove all the way to KC to pick me up from the airport to surprise Ha old and Marlene for their wedding. He was so sweet and fun! I know he will be missed, but I bet Marlene is very happy to hug him again! My best and much love, Sherry
