Words can't express how saddened I was to hear of JoAnn's passing. There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept and people we can't live without but have to let go. Whenever I think of JoAnn, I don't see her aging or having health issues. I still see her with the same smile that could light up any room, no matter how sad the occupants. I will always remember her for her caring and loving nature & cherish our friendship.
I knew JoAnn as a child then got to know her again when I returned to the area 22 years ago. We worked together at the school food service. She always had a wonderful smile and made everyone else smile. She will be missed. I'm sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful lady.
Joann taught me a lot when I was a cna and even more when I became a nurse. Her love of life and family always shown through. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
