I remember seeing Shirley at almost every ball game I was able to attend that Trint, Justin or Chaylin played in and thinking, "what a wonderful and devoted grandmother she is". Bet she'll still be watching only from a much more comfortable location.

I was very fond of Aunt Shirley. She and Mom were close, she visited our house often when I was a child and went to church with us. She usually had a book in her hand. She has a special place in my heart. May God comfort you during this time of grief and the feeling of loss in the days ahead.

Our sympathies to Clifford and all of Shirley's family. We enjoyed so much our breakfast every Sunday morning after church and our sometimes Friday evening suppers and visits. Shirley loved her family so much. She was so proud of the grandsons and their sports and 4-H projects. Yes nothing came between her and her sports on TV. If we stopped by the house Cliff would come out and visit and say "Shirley is watching the game. Our only regret is we only got to know Shirley in the last couple of years. But she was a very special lady. Rough and tough with sweetness mixed together. Now she is at Peace watching the games and livestock and fishing in heaven. God bless you all.
