Obituary of Brittney Grace Feuerborn

The bright and shining light known to many as, Brittney Grace Feuerborn, age 23, of Greeley, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The free spirited daughter of Cliff and Karen (Bures) Feuerborn was born on November 18, 1993, at Olathe, Kansas. As an elementary student, Brittney attended St. John's and St. Rose Schools; she graduated as a Valedictorian from Anderson County High School with the class of 2012. Following high school, Brittney attended Pittsburg State University, earning a degree in graphic communications in 2016. As a student she was recognized with several awards for her artwork. She was currently living in Pittsburg and utilizing her creative, artistic talents as a Graphic Artist for Limelight Marketing in Pittsburg. Brittney was quick to smile, loved to laugh, and was blessed with the gift to brighten any room she entered. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, sincerity, and her zest for life. Family was one of the pillars in her life, and she never failed to make it known how much she cared for them. She loved being an aunt to her nieces. Brittney cherished her friends and loved making memories with them, dancing, enjoying music or just spending time together. Her easy going personality enabled her to live her life to the fullest in whatever ways she chose. She was equally at home in the city or enjoying the outdoors. Brittney was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clifford Feuerborn in 1994; infant brother, Austin in 1991. She is survived by her parents, Cliff and Karen Feuerborn of Greeley; brothers, Blake Feuerborn of Kansas City, Missouri; Bryce Feuerborn of Greeley; nieces, Honor and Violet Feuerborn; grandmother, Patricia Feuerborn of Garnett; grandparents, Lloyd and Marikay Bures of Richmond, Kansas; the love of her life, Ryan Martin of Pittsburg, Kansas; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at St. John's Catholic Church in Greeley, Kansas, with burial following at St. John's Cemetery. The family will greet friends following a 6:30 P.M. Rosary, Wednesday evening at St. John's Catholic Church, Greeley. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose School or the Brittney Feuerborn Memorial Fund (for the benefit of graphic arts program / students at Pittsburg State University).
