I met Al many years ago when I started guiding at Lake Texoma. He answered an ad I'd put in a local newspaper in Kansas and was actually one of my first customers. From then on, he became a friend and we fished together every year possible. One trip he made, he brought his wife Dana and her sister. Dana slipped as she was getting in the boat and fell in the water. We all had a good laugh! Another time, the wiring in the boat caught fire and we had to bright it back to the house. Al, Dennis, and Gene, worked for half a day, fixing all the wiring before we could get it back on the water. I miss him and those times together. He was a good man and friend of mine.
My prayers to the family today and in the coming days. I'm unable to be there, but I'll be thinking of you.
Bob
p.s. and I'm NOT a ballerina! :)

Dear Deana and Family,
I am so sorry and sad to learn of Al's sudden death. He was a good friend especially to my brother, George, during his last illness. He was patient and kind in many ways. I hope this doesn't seem too corny.. but if there are any good fishing holes in heaven I hope he meets up with my dad, Steve, and George and they have a great time.
I will miss Al and always remember him with a smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you Deana, Austin and all of your family. Jenny Isaac

Dear Deana and Family - I was so sorry to hear yesterday about Al's passing. All of you have been in my prayers ever since. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one after so many years together. I pray you will always remember the good times and many memories that have been made in those years. Al will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him - and especially his "coffee" and "fishing" buddies - as well as all his family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time and I will call in a few days to talk with you. Meanwhile - know that I am thinking and praying for you.
Blessings,
Connie

I am so sorry for your loss. Al was a personable fellow I enjoyed talking to, a good neighbor (we had each other's backs) and a pretty good person. I will be thinking of the family during this time, wishing you peace and comfort and good memories.
