He always seemed to have a friendly attitude about anything and everything when I talked to him at baseball games and at the Anderson County Sale barn. Alberta and family, We were so sad to hear of Leland's death this morning. We got to know Leland very well when we lived in Richmond all those years. He was everywhere at the elevator, ball park , gas station. Usually had coffee and iced tea during the working day together and then a beer after work. We enjoyed so many dances and parties the many hours at the ball park. He loved his family never once did he have a conversation that one of his family was not mentioned. He also lioved his sisters and brothers very much. Usually had the bragging rights on his garden. Never a weed in it and flowers galore. Now he has been called to God's home. No more pains in his back, heart or legs. He can now enjoy the peace and love of heaven. Keep him in your hearts and know he is waiting for you all to join him.
