We are so saddened by Walts passing. He was a very dear friend.
I enjoyed coming home most every day in the afternoon for lunch and Walt, Orville and Gurdon would all be there with James enjoying each others company. I always enjoyed visiting with them a few minutes whenever I came home while they were there. One summer day, I watched Walt and James sitting outside on the glider swing visiting and waving at every car that passed by. Sometimes they waved in unison and sometimes they alternated waving. I got tickled watching them through the window. We enjoyed having dinner with you two, even though we never were able to make it as many times as we would have liked.
Walt was such a gentle, kind man. He had a great sense of humor and beautiful baby blue eyes. We will miss Walt tremendously.
