What a guy! Bill and I were connected in more than one way over the years. We served on different boards together and developed a friendship and love of many of the same interests. Patriotism, community service, Bulldog Sports, Wildcat sports, pride in our community, ( I am not a native of the Garnett area but Bill always treated me as we had known each other our whole life as we both shared a love for our community), healthcare, Faith in God, Sonic French fries :), family, but I think our favorite topic of discussion was our love for our Saint Bernards. In many ways Bill reminded me of the loyalty of our precious breed of dogs. Forever loyal to his master, always eager to serve and forever grateful for the opportunity to do so. Will miss you my friend. If there are Dogs in heaven I know which ones will catch your attention. With our Love Jason and Paula Sjorlund

Barb and Family ~ I am so sorry to read of Bill's passing. He was such a kind man. I will never forget when he sang at my Dad's funeral. I had no idea he had such a beautiful voice. His voice brought peace to my family that day. And I pray that you find your peace in your wonderful memories you have. He will always be with you. You will carry him in your hearts forever ~

So very sorry to hear of you grievous loss, barb! I feel like our class has lost its foundation because he contributed so very much to our runions. Bill and Jim started kindergrten at the same time I did at Longfellow with Dorothy Thomas and I bleieve we were together through the fifth grade. He could carry a tune when kindergarten started while I had not learned that until late in that year so he was a leader even then. I know you will miss him terribly but hope you can take comfort knowing he's now comfortable in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Condolences for the Craig family, from a former neighbor. Mr. Craig was a great supporter and advocate for Garnett's families and the community at large; his many contributions served businesses, schools and civic organizations. Barbara & family: I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My memories of him are many. I remember a very energetic man whose passion was to do whatever he could for Garnett and economic development. He loved his K-State Wildcats and we often bet on the K-State and KU ballgames. I have a one dollar bill that he had to give me when he lost one of those bets. He even signed it for me. I still hear his distinctive voice as he sang the Lord's Prayer so many times. I will think of you often in the coming days. Blessings to all of you.

Barb, Todd, Mitch and families: I am so sorry that we are saying our farewells this soon after Jimbo's death. What can I say about the Bill Craig that is so well know that no one else doesn't know? He had that big tough guy personality but he was the kindest soul under all that. He loved to laugh, tease, and joke around.. If anyone did not get the pleasure of knowing cousin Bill first hand you lost out a lot in your life. Barb and family I wish you all peace in the days and months ahead. You have been by his side daily. But the pain is gone and the peace for him has begun. And I am sure that The KSU and KU arguing has begun with he and Jimbo in heaven..
