To all of the family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It is so very hard to let go of someone so close to our hearts. Jim was such a soft spoken, kind soul and I know that he will be missed by all so much. Thinking of you at this time. Thank God that we had our parents as long as we did, we are so fortunate!

Uncle Jim will be truely missed. I'm so glad that we (myself and my brothers Rich and Ron) were able to stop by and see him on Monday while we were in town. My heart goes out to the whole family. It's hard to get a grasp on the idea of both mom and dad being gone. You are all in my prayers.

Vickie, Dan, Duane, and Mary and all the extended family:
Our sympathy for the loss of a great man. Jim was one in a million. They don't make men like him anymore. He was the most honest, sincere, hardworking, devoted man I think I ever knew.
He did so much work he milked, farmed, carpentered, helped at the church, raised a fantastic family.. And never would he complain he just moved to the next project that needed his attention.
When some of the guys needed extra work and Jim was on one of his building projects. He was good about taking them on as a hand to get the work done and help them pay their bills. He expected the same quality of work from those that helped him. Everything was perfect whether he was planting a straight row, building a house or mowing his field.
God during this busy harvest decided he needed a good farmer in heaven to be his sons guardian angel to make sure everything went safe and sound.
Rest now Jim you deserve the good life we are sure heaven offers you...
