To Helen's family, We were sorry to hear about your mom. Growing up, I remember her from the medical center where she was the face and voice of calmness trying to find out what was wrong. But as I got older, and the roles reversed, I took time to always visit and find out how she was. She was indeed a special lady. As I told someone else, embrace those memories she left you, for in the end...that is all we have.

Angie, Jackie & Debbie, Susan & I send our condolences to you and your families. I have good memories of your mother. She was very kind and interested in my life when I seen her from time to time. I remember her bringing Grandpa a Lemon Meringue pie routinely to family get togethers and speaking to me those times. I have to tell you a short story of your parents. Susan & I got married at Scipio and had our wedding dance in Richmond. Your folks came and stayed for everything. The brought us a nice present and partied all night. Your dad & mom injoyed the dancing and some adult beverages and a good time was had. They "cut a rug" that night dancing together. I did get to dance with my Aunt Helen. My mom will miss her and the recent times they would get together to have a meal. Please know your mother will be missed. David & Susan Roecker & Family

So sad to learn about Helen's passing. She was the original Dr. Mom to me! While I was raising my kids she was the first contact to the Medical Center. Could not have raised my two without Helen!
