We are working on the next Iola High School Class of 1959 Newsletter to be soon published. Barbara Hobert Clay was one of our class members who received a copy of the newsletter on her email whenever it was published. A recent email I sent to her was rejected so I assume her email has been terminated. If her family is still interested in receiving this newsletter, then I will need their answer & email address. We do not use the US mail. Please send this message on to them so that they may reply back to me. They could contact Donna Valentine in Iola & she could in turn get me their decision. Barb was one of the best moms we had. I may not have been a one of the Clay's but she sure made me feel like one. If you were lucky enough to hang out in her kitchen she was always serving up some delicious food. I still cook a chicken casserole I got from her. We will miss you! You all are in out thoughts.

We are so sorry for your loss, The last few days had to have been so difficult, but you do have each other for support and comfort. I remember how it was for myself when my mother passed. Your family has been such a big part of Jason's life and that of his family, they thought the world of Barbara. Barb was President-elect when I was KAEOP President. We had wonderful times serving together and working together. She gave the best hugs. I remember her theme as President was KAEOP, Recipe for Success. Her theme reflected her love for cooking/baking as well as her love for the professional organizations at all levels. I am blessed to have known her and called her my friend. Thank you to her family for sharing her with us. I know that she is in heaven now taking care of everyone.
