Gene was like an uncle to me. Dad and mom used to go out to the farm when all of us were kids and the great memories of those special times I will cherish forever! I learned an appreciation early for the earth and animals. This balance connects us to my belief that we should be good stewards of the earth and I was always ready for an adventure when we went to see Gene, Leah, Marion, and Zola. To the entire family, may Holy God grant you peace and strength in the coming days ahead.
