I knew Robert (and Ralph) growing up, seeing your family each week in church. Robert was a couple of years ahead of me so I didn't get to know him very well during those years. It was few years later that I knew him better, when he would come to Manhattan to see Dennis (Hermreck) and I, and we ran around with him more frequently, just having fun. I'll always remember his sweet smile, his funny humor and his kind heart. Both men are gone too soon. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your extended family.
