Madelyn was a very dear friend of my mother, Doris(Cupp)Mandina. They began their friendship in the 1940's, while working together at the Montgomery Wards Store. Their friendship continued even after they both were married, with Madelyn becoming the Godmother to my 2 brothers, Vito and Joe Mandina. She celebrated my parent's 50th Anniversary with us, and helped to keep mom's spirit up while she was hospitalized. She was a joy and a blessing to know. And, for my mother, "She will always be my friend." May you rest in peace, Dear Friend, Virginia, Rosie, Vito, Donna, Joe, and Doris.
