I had never seen this page at the time of your passing, but I was looking up Jim and found it. Better late than never! I love you, Grandpa Jake. I know you saw me a lot when I was a baby, and a young child. I wish I had gotten to visit you and Grandma Lou more into my teens and adulthood, I'm very sorry that I hadn't. The last time I visited you, after her passing, I saw for the first time how alike you and my dad are. It stunned me, I think it was beautiful seeing your mannerisms and demeanor match. It actually made me cry (its easy to do haha), but I didn't want to concern anybody so I kind of held it in at that time. But thank you for my wonderful father with Grandma Lou, I am so grateful for the family I have and it is in huge part thanks to you.
