Obituary of Janeen Wilson
Janeen Renee Wilson, 49, of Iola, Kansas, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.
Janeen was born December 12, 1961, in Iola, Kansas, the daughter of John R. "Tom" and Jerrie Sue Folk.
On September 22, 1979, Janeen married Charles L. "Chuck" Wilson and they made their home in Iola. They were later divorced. She worked at several jobs through the years and was working for Dustrol when she became ill.
Janeen liked getting dressed up, traveling, shopping and garage sales, but her biggest joy was her family.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Yates Center, Kansas, and the Iola American Legion Auxiliary.

1 Daughter: Alisha Melendez & husband, Jesus of Yates Center, KS
Her Mother: Jerrie Sue Folk of Iola, KS
2 Sisters: Cindy VanHouden & husband, Chris of Iola, KS, and Teresa Henry & husband, Tim of Iola, KS
8 Grandchildren: Kalley, Kaisha, Jesse & Tyler Melendez, Raylea, Devon & Morgan Wilson, and Prestyn Jenkins
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Folk, and a baby brother, John R. Folk, Jr.
VISITATION: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2011, at Yates Center First Baptist Church with Pastor David Cauley officiating.
BURIAL: Yates Center Cemetery, Yates Center, Kansas
