"When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that, in truth, you are weeping for that which has been your delight." Kahlil Gibran So very saddened to hear about the loss of Julie. Without having known her and reading this, Julie sounds like she had an incredible personality and was a loving wife, mother and contributor to all the communities she lived in. Mollie- My heartfelt and deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I hope and pray that you are able to deal with this loss with strength and courage. We all wish you our very best and send you our regards.

I did not have the honor of knowing Mrs. Zahn, but it is no surprise to read of all the wonderful ways of caring and giving that her life entailed. Her legacy lives on in the genuine kindness of her daughter. My prayers are with her family and friends.

Our heartfelt condolences to the Zahn and Erbert families. We have great memories of when Richard, Julie, Dona Mae and Debbie came to San Francisco and visited with their cousin Don and me, and again when we attended Julie's mother, Dona's, 80th, birthday in Iola, Kansas. Such a loving family, all of whom will miss Julie terribly but have wonderful memories of her life.

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal" May the memory of Julie and the wonderful impressions she left behind live on forever. I know that she has passed so many of her thoughtful, sweet, and loving traits to her daughter Mollie. Mollie is a fantastic friend and person - someone I know that her mother was proud of. I have the honor of having Mollie as a close friend, and know that her mother will continue to live on within Mollie's soul. My condolences go out to the entire family. Stephanie

My heart and prayers are with all of Julie's family. I had the honor of having her as a dear friend since her move to Iola. I smile when I think of all the good times we spent together and our matching navy blue circle skirt and red sweaters always worn the same day in grade school. Julie and the Erbert family are a treasured part of my memories. She found such happiness in her marriage to Richard and her love of both him and her girls. Seeing her again at our class reunion a few years ago was just lilke a step back in time to a friendship never lost. Julie was a special, loving woman and Heaven will be more even beautiful due to her beauty and grace. Special in my memories forever, Mary Rombach Smith

To all the family I send my heartfelt condolences. What a wonderful woman Julie became. My memories are of her make me smile. Oh the fun, silly things we did together! I will never forget the many days of cheerleader practices. Or our car washes and other fund raisers, cheerleader camps, and hours and hours at the Iola swimming pool in the summer. What a legacy to leave memories of the good times of our youth and friendships.

My deep sympathies to Julie's family and anyone who was priviledged to come in contact with Julie, a very great lady; a perfect rose. Julie was very special to me. We had wonderful times when she would pick me up in her Volvo back in the 1980's; always a beautiful smile and would give me her full attention and time. I recall a story of her attending Elizabeth Taylor's 60th birthday party celebration in CA. Julie could speak with Elizabeth and the other stars and yet when Julie was with me, she was a star but was humble enough to not know it. Julie had grace, kindness and compassion and the best to offer in these qualities to others. I will miss Julie and always keep her in my heart. May great memories of her comfort you in the time ahead.

To Julie's families. You were truly blessed to have Julie in your families. Had the privilege of going to grade school, high school and Jr college with her. Also spent a summer working with her at the pool and to this day was some of the best times of my life. She was very special, cared about everyone and would do anything for you. Had the opportunity to spend time with her and Rich at the last class reunion and she treated me like a dear old friend that she hadn't seen in 30 years. Will miss her but will never forget her. So sorry for your loss. Roger Diebolt
