Obituary of Dolores Wilson
Dolores J. Wilson, 79, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at her home.
Dolores was born October 14, 1933, on the family farm two and a half miles west of Piqua, Kansas, the daughter of Leo Henry and Tillie I. (Hasstedt) Smith. She grew up on the farm.
On November 10, 1952, Dolores married Ralph O. Wilson at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Piqua. He entered the service and she made her home with her parents until his honorable discharge from the service. They have made their home in Iola since 1955.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Altar Society in Iola. Dolores enjoyed gardening and canning, crafts and painting, and fishing with Ralph.

1 Brother: Robert L. Smith of Piqua, KS
4 Grandchildren: Lori Goodell & husband, Tadd of Colony, KS, Jeremy Bland & wife, Rebecca of Waukee, IA, Jason Hill & wife, Audra of Parker, CO and Darrin Hill of Lacon, IL
8 Great Grandsons: Bryson & Brayden Goodell, Dylan & Jackson Bland, Carson, Liam, Garrett & Daniel Hill
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Eugene Smith.
PARISH ROSARY: 7:00 p.m., Fri., Dec. 21, 2012, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola.
VISITATION: Following the rosary in the church parish center.
FUNERAL MASS: 10:30 a.m., Sat., Dec. 22, 2012, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola.
BURIAL: Highland Cemetery, Iola, KS
MEMORIAL CHOICES: St. John's Catholic Church, Allen County Hospice or Kappa Alpha Chapter of Phi Tau Omega Sorority for local cancer support
