Norma L. Yancey, 70, of Iola, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. Norma was born August 8, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Fayma (Garner) Yancey. She moved with her family to Iola in 1955. She worked as a waitress, in nursing homes and did home care for the State of Kansas before retiring. Cremation has taken place. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Noon-2:00 p.m. Sat., Dec. 28, 2013, at the North Community Building in Iola. All are welcome to participate in the potluck luncheon.
