Obituary of Jerome Wille
Jerome Joseph "Jody" Wille, Jr., 71, of Iola, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at the Allen County Hospital in Iola.
Jody was born October 23, 1939, in Iola, Kansas, the son of Jerome J. "Jerry" and Virginia M. (Shaefer) Wille. He grew up in Iola and Yates Center and graduated from Yates Center High School. He has made his home in the Woodson and Allen County areas most of his life where he worked as a self-employed brick mason.
On March 29, 2003, Jody married Martha J. (Wiles) Sirota and they made their home in Iola.
Jody was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, Iola Elks and Iola American Legion. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his friends and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome "Jerry" Wille in 1975, brother Michael R. "Mike" Wille in 1994, sister Michelle R. "Missy" Bolen in 1995, and grandson Hunter Shaw in 2001.
VISITATION: 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
ROSARY & MASS: The parish rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011, at St. John's Catholic Church in Iola, followed by the mass at 11:00. The Rev. Robert B. Wachter will be celebrant.
INURNMENT: Cremation will follow the mass with inurnment in St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery in Piqua, KS, at a later date.
MEMORIAL: Allen County Hospital Capital Campaign or donor's choice
Memorial gifts may be left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, which is in charge of arrangements.
